Note
From Sharon Baugh The illegitimate Nurse connection not only came from research but from my Gt Granny Annie Jane Vaughan it was a family embarrasment and handed down as such with each generation. My Granny who was the daughter of Annie Jane told me of the tale when I started research in 1980's. It was of a relative born into a good family living in a big house in Weston near Ross and having a child born the wrong side of the blanket as she put it. The child was sent to a wet nurse and supported by the family throughout her life and was given a marriage settlement but as yet I have not found it. The Nurse family is well documented through Wills and online resources, but I have not found a will that mentions the child margaret who was my 4xgt granny. However I feel it is conclusive this is how it was. Do you want further access to my tree until Monday Regards Sharon
