More research on our Bown line
13 April 2011 - 02:20:43
I'm currently doing more research on our Bown line particularly those living in Kempsford, Ampney Crucis and Down Ampney, Gloucestershire between 1600 and 1850.

The family names that I am currently researching include Bown (Bowne), Elborough, Westmacott (mostly based in Northleach), Part and Hewer aka Rodburn.

If anyone has any information on the history and ownership of Bown's Farm, Ampney Crucis (near Cirencester) or The White Hart Inn (Hotel), Stow-on-the-Wold, I would be grateful to swap notes. Both of these were owned by my direct ancestors.
